Thursday 3rd May saw 24 DCF U11 girls from the Development squad taking part in their first intra-county day of the season at Duffield CC.
Derbyshire Women have qualified for the County T20 Play Off Finals Day on Sunday 8th May and they will play Yorkshire in their Semi Final at 11am.

After a week off to recharge their batteries the Over 50s were back in action with an away trip to the lovely ground of Toft Cricket Club where they would face Cheshire in the 3rd game of their Group 1 campaign.
Derbyshire 50+ were at home in their 2nd game of the 2021 season against local rivals Nottinghamshire. Having lost their first game Derbyshire needed a big performance to get the Group 1 season back on track.
The Derbyshire 50+ side visited Middleton Cricket Club once the home of the England legend Basil D’Oliveira to face Lancashire 50+ in the first ECB 50+ County Championship Group 1 game of 2021. This was Derbyshire's first game since 2019 as the 2020 competition was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Sunday 9th May saw the Derbyshire Women back on the field after a washed-out Bank Holiday Monday the week before. This time they traveled to Desborough Town CC for a T20 double against Northamptonshire on a sunny yet at times very windy day.
On a bright but at times chilly day at Denby Cricket Club Derbyshire Women got their season off with a T20 double header against Shropshire.
