The ECB requires Club Safeguarding Officers (CSO) to attend two sets of training:
Every three years the requirements above must be updated.
All CSOs must also have a current ECB DBS and should ideally be on the DBS Update Service.
If you are a new CSO then to be fully trained before next season both courses and the ECB DBS must be completed.
It is preferable to do the SYC or SPC before the Safe Hands course. If you wish to do the free SYC please contact me or your Club & Community Cricket Officer for the link to be sent to you.
We have arranged a further 3 Safe Hands courses in March 2023. These may be the only courses in Derbyshire before next season so if you need to do a course it would be advisable to book on one. You can do a course in a neighbouring county if that is more accessible.
The courses are listed below with the booking link and there is a charge of £10 per person. There is a limit on the numbers we can have at each venue.
