Clubmark

Clubmark remains a key component of helping clubs raise standards in the recreational game and is used by many leagues as an entry requirement and the Home Office as part of requirements for the managed migration process. The historic 3 year accreditation cycle has been a victim of the pandemic, so there have been some amendments made and we will continue to review to ensure it remains fit for purpose and value add for the clubs going through the process.

The aim for 2022 is to build on the introduction of the Safe Hands Management System in 2021 and review key governance-related documents as well.

Here are a few key points for any new clubs:

  • For this season, the number of criteria required has reduced to recognise the time pressures on volunteers.
  • A visit from one of our Clubmark Support Officers is a requirement.
  • Information will need to be uploaded on the Clubmark portal by the 30th of June.
  • Clubs will need to be compliant on the Safe Hands Management System
