Calling all teachers!
On Friday 17th June, in partnership with Chance to Shine and Youth Sport Trust, the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation are running a FREE teacher training workshop for KS1 and KS2 staff.
Throughout the day our learning objectives will be:
- Describe the Chance to Shine Programme and resources and how they can support you to deliver Cricket in your school. https://www.chancetoshine.org/teaching-resources
- Explain the importance of Fundamental Movement Skills and how they are developed through the Chance to Shine Programme
- Be able to apply the SMILES model to deliver high quality PE.
The workshop will run from 9:30am – 3:00pm and will be held at Derbyshire County Cricket Club, lunch will be provided.
